There’s no time for chit-chat when there are hot pancakes on the griddle begging to be eaten. There’s barely time to make some bacon and set the table. Yum! Pancakes are one of my favorite foods and breakfast for dinner is the best. Blueberry are my current fav flavor, it was poppy seed before that, and before that chocolate chip. I can honestly say that apple has never made it into the top 10 list but I’m ready to give it another shot.
This video from WhatsUpMoms has me wishing it was breakfast/lunch/dinner time. I also wish I’d had this recipe yesterday; it was ‘national apple pie day’ but I’m sure this would have been fine as a substitute. In 20 minutes you can turn eggs, milk, flour, salt, butter, apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon into the most delicious apple puffed pancakes. I can’t believe how easy this recipe is and I’m so excited to try it! I bet you could do this with other fruits, maybe peaches.
National pancake day is March 4th. I missed it this year. Lame. I found this tasty roundup from Bakerita that I’m definitely going to bookmark. Don’t worry, you don’t have to wait until next March to make all of these. I know I’m not going to! Find all the recipes here.
